i’ve taken ages getting to these so to make it up here are twenty facts you may or may not already know about me :|

1. i’m 17 years old, 18 in a month
2. i’m the youngest in my family, as well as the only girl, with four older brothers
3. i live in the US, in minnesota
4. since 7th grade (12 years old) and up until recently, i went to a private christian school, which, although i’m not entirely sure of my own beliefs at this point, i actually really, really loved, mostly because of the teachers, the teaching style, the curriculum (which… despite what you might think, was not actually any kind of super-ultra-christianized curriculum), and the other students
5. i say ‘up until recently’ because i had to pull out this past semester due to some recurring issues related to depression that i’ve needed to work through
6. (that being said, i’ve struggled with moderate to severe depression for almost three years now)
7. i love to listen to music in the shower.  the downside to this is that it often takes me about three times longer than usual in there because i’m too busy dancing to actually get clean
8. i have a ridiculously strong gag reflex (which often makes going to the dentist utterly miserable.)
9. i was once told by my favorite author that i’m a good writer
10. i am absolute shit at finishing things i start
11. one of my favorite hobbies is cake decorating
12. when i was two or three years old i had a nightmare about ladybugs and i am maybe possibly still just a little bit scared of them
13. i’m straight (no matter how much katie mcgrath makes my mind wander)
14. i’m a really outgoing and relationship-oriented person, especially in real life.  i see a lot of people on here talking about how socially awkward they are irl but that’s really never been me.
15. my favorite color is red
16. my first-ever concert was a jonas brothers concert in 2007, after which my best friend and i got hugs from the whole band
17. i am really, really fucking forgetful
18. i have pieces of poster paper all over my walls that i just write all over—song lyrics, quotes, my own thoughts; just in general, things i want to see every day.  writing that stuff on my walls in colored sharpies is one of the most cathartic things in the world for me.
19. despite how much i say i’m going to cry on here, it is almost impossible for me to cry most of the time (which is actually really frustrated given how often i want to cry).  the one thing that can easily make me cry is when i’m feeling a crippling sense of loss over something or someone that was important to me.
