compare for a moment

shall we

did i ever tell you guys about how my cats are merlin and arthur 

meet arthur (max).  he’s big and white and fluffy and sort of regal-looking.  he was there first and quite content just being king of the fucking castle.

and meet merlin (misha) (who sleeps in odd positions).  he came along this past summer, just a kitten, and as far as max was concerned, just this scrawny, annoying little thing.

it was i-fucking-hate-you-piss-off at first sight.  but misha started following max around everywhere and bothering the fuck out of him and trying to play and max would pretend to be really annoyed and brush him off

BUT THEN

HE’D TOTALLY PLAY BACK

and it started happening where if misha would go and hide somewhere, max would walk around meowing and looking for him and generally being all mopey until misha would come out again

he still likes to pretend he doesn’t care but they are pretty obviously in love

wow, man.  subtle.
