I have a lot of thoughts about Rose wrapping herself up in the Doctor’s leather jacket at all times and deliberately leaving the TARDIS without a jacket and complaining until the Doctor rolled his eyes and shed his jacket and wrapped it around her shoulders, muttering something about chilly apes (and when his back is turned, Rose turns her nose into the collar and inhales and closes her eyes and allows herself this moment to savor the smell of stardust and spice).

Or Rose wanting to get a cup of tea at 4 in the morning but her bra and panties and the rest of her clothes are strewn across the floor on the way to his bed, but his jacket is right there. So she wraps herself up in that jacket and marvels at the way the leather is cool but warms under her skin (and even more marvelous is the way the Doctors’ blue eyes darken when he sees Rose in nothing but his jacket and he tugs her into his bed and mumbles into her skin, “Keep it on. Just this once”).
